Terms and conditions

Swimming course details:

Aquatictots swimming lessons run from October to July and include 35 weeks of lessons.

Aquatictots swimming lessons are delivered in accordance with the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) STA is an international award-winning charity working towards the objective of preserving human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques.

Payment details:

Lesson payments are divided into 10 period blocks and are are booked in blocks of 3 or 4 weeks, payment will be taken in advance of the 3 or 4 week period. Details of payment dates can be seen here: Link to holiday dates

if your payment is not made for the next period block, you will be required to make the payment, prior to the next swimming lesson. Should payment not be received, we will have to terminate your place and offer this to someone else.

Cancellations and refunds:

If a student is unable to attend a lesson due to sickness or holiday, Aquatictots are unable to issue a refund as the payment secures the place for the full period block of lessons. In the case of serious illness (broken bone etc) each case will be considered individually. In exceptional circumstances, the student may be offered the option of delaying lessons to a later date.  Once payment has been made for courses and pool places have been secured no refunds will be given.

Personal Information:

Aquatictots keeps personal information including names, addresses, dates of birth and contact details and will not share this data with any third party in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  Aquatots will not keep any financial or other details.

Pool Issues

In the event of the pool not being available for lessons due to technical or health and safety issues Aquatictots will notify the clients.  In the event of lesson cancellations by Aquatictots due to problems with the pool, the client’s account will be credited for that lesson.

Swimming Pool Safety

Lesson attendees and parents/carers must abide by the swimming pool rules and regulations at all times. As well as any special instructions given by the swimming instructor.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions

From time to time Aquatictots will update its terms and conditions on the Aquatictots website.  If a client is not happy with the changes they should notify the Aquatictots in writing of their non-acceptance within 14 days of the changes. Failing any such communication from the client Aquatictots will deem that they fully accept the updated terms and conditions.
